INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION

From Early human to present human, Homo sapiens has evolved very much. As earlier human firstly don't knew to fire but now present human can explode in any where in the earth, earlier they don't knew to grow food but now present human can not only grow food for present but they store food for the future also.

Homo sapiens first appeared towards the end of the Paleolithic period. In this period, man barely gather his food and mostly depend on the hunting.

Paleolithic period is divided into three phases. They are lower, middle and upper Paleolithic period.

After Paleolithic period, Mesolithic Period came in which human has started domesticated animals (first animal was dogs) and preparing small hand tools for hunting which are called Microliths. Evidences from Bhimbetka (in M.P.)  proves that they use to depicting pictures of birds, animals and humans.

After Mesolithic period, Neolithic period came in which human knew about fire, agriculture and wheels was invented. An important site of this age is Burzahom.

Then came the most civilized civilization of ancient history called the Indus valley civilization or Harappan civilization.

Earlier it was called indus valley civilization due to the major river Indus river located there but later after further excavation site discovered known Harappan was known its name changed to Harappan civilization.
